Finals Week: 24-Hour Quiet Hours
Creating a quiet environment during finals helps every resident prepare for exams and finish the semester successfully.
During finals week:
- Quiet hours are enforced 24 hours a day throughout the residence halls.
- Non-resident visitors are restricted between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
We appreciate every resident's cooperation in maintaining a respectful study environment for the entire housing community.
Financial Aid & Housing
Students who plan to use financial aid to pay for Student Housing must have sufficient verified financial aid on file before housing payment deadlines.
Eligible financial aid may include:
- Federal financial aid
- State financial aid
- Local scholarships
- Grants
- Pell Grants
- Student loans
- Other approved financial assistance
Tuition and Student Housing charges will be deducted from your available financial aid before any remaining funds are disbursed to you.
Receiving financial aid does not relieve you of financial responsibility for any remaining balance owed under your Housing Agreement. Any balance not covered by financial aid must be paid according to the established payment schedule through Nelnet.
Please note:
- Financial aid cannot be used to pay the $75 non-refundable housing administrative fee.
- The financial aid process can take several weeks to complete. Apply early and allow adequate time for your application to be reviewed and approved.
If you have questions about Financial Aid, contact Financial Aid or stop by Student Services for assistance.

Attendance at required meetings is mandatory.
If you cannot attend a required meeting, you are responsible for contacting the appropriate Housing staff member to obtain the information that was shared.
